In class today, I was asked that question.If there's anything contagious, its definitely these new diseases coming up in this world we call World Wide Web. From myspace, which I refer to as Facebook's grandpa, and Facebook which is Myspace's grandson (both are great networking tools by the way). And now this new thing Twitter.
A definite disease, which most people join because everyone is. If you are not a celebrity or in this "industry" no one real gives an F about what you're doing whether you just stepped on some doo doo or you're about to leave and step out your house. Celebrities, musicians, moguls, etc., are understandable, for their fans to keep up on them, but nonetheless, its an online t.v show of yourself and "followers" watching you. A new form of entertainment only you're not getting paid. What happened to mystery? The beauty of privacy? Or actually to communicate and talk? And following? No. We don't follow people.
Wonder what's the next disease people will catch? "Barker!" LOL.
