"Bang-Bang"- Thee Mark
So, I still go to school and one of the classes I have never been put into is art. But I have A.P art and one thing I was always taught as a kid; was that you could never teach someone how to draw, paint, or any media. It comes natural as my mother would say it, but after being surrounded by art everyday, a lot of kids now a days are what I call a cheat really. I mean I hear almost everyday these college courses they've taken and all that.
I mean I can't knock you for what you "love" ,but from the perspective of a true artist I feel that it's a bit unfair. Although I am the top artist in my whole school. I don't know why I even talk about this. At the end of the day people will do what they wanna do. Right? But my question is why is it that I draw better than a trained artist? hah!
Anyway being in a class, your basically putting your self in a bubble where you are limited to such things. Like you are dictated to perform at a certain level and be like everyone else. Before I came into the class I was drawing a lot of pop art things---Then I got forced to focusing on realism and I almost perfected it =P. I met a few people who are like machines in copying faces and expressions. But, I think theres more to it than that. So I went back to my cartoon, fun, roots that afterall developed my passion for this. God bless
